Description

Our heirloom home garden organic Moringa seeds have a 2-4 weeks germination time. Grow in full sun to part shade. Subtropical – tropical climate. Plant Moringa seeds 1/2 inch deep in well draining soil (OMRI certified organic planting mix is recommended for optimal results). Keep slightly moist until germination.

Once established, you can trim tops to 6ft for easy harvest of leaves. For pods Moringa must be left to grow taller. Once established Moringa can tolerate infrequent watering and grow on its own.  Grows, re-grows fast after harvest. Super low maintenance. Once established grows on it’s own even in dry conditions and tolerates many soil types with minimal watering.

Moringa is a multi-purpose tree with many different uses including food, water purification, cosmetics, tea, fodder, and more. The highly nutritious Moringa leaves can be used in salads, soups, curries, steamed, smoothies, etc. Lots of recipes and info online. Young pods are also eatable.
